The Hague 2014-2015

The Hague, or Den Haag in Dutch, located on the North Sea coast of Holland, is the country’s seat of government and a major hub for international diplomacy. Known as the “International City of Peace and Justice,” it is home to the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, two institutions that play a central role in addressing global conflicts, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
Historically, The Hague has been a center of power since the 16th century, housing royal palaces, parliament, and embassies. Today, it continues to shape world affairs while offering a refined cultural scene, beautiful historic neighborhoods, and quick access to sandy beaches like Scheveningen, making it a city where global politics, history, and coastal charm merge.
